Join us for a New Moon event! Come and gather together, open your eyes, your mind and your heart as we explore the void together. The Sunygata (the void/emptiness) is expressed as no ego/no self in the Great Wisdom Heart Sutra from the Wisdom Sutras. It is the acceptance of things as they are. This is the truest expression of unconditional Love. We will be doing a talk and meditation regularly on the new moon (representation of the void). It is an untraditional "Dharma Talk," meaning that teachings will extend not only from Buddhist traditions, but will also include Sufi, Taoist and Hindu Traditions and Western and Yogic Philosophies. The new moon is a void waiting to be filled. It is a time for you to set intentions for what you would like to create in the upcoming new month and reflect on what you would like to let go of. Each month will be different. Come experience.

I need your strength, your spirit, and your sense of community to help me move some heavy blocks and build something beautiful! It will look like:

Lifting heavy things like the legends we are (seriously, they are 22.4 lbs a piece, and there will be a pallet of them! - WEAR GLOVES)
Building something awesome together and sharing community space
Feasting on delicious food from the garden!
Celebrating our hard work with an open jam session! Bring your instruments, your voice, or just your presence!

WHEN: Sunday April 6 9am-3pm, Saturday April 12 9am-3pm and Sunday April 13 9am-3pm (Come anytime within these windows)

WHY: Because gardens don’t build themselves, and working together makes everything more fun! Plus, I need help!!!
